September 16, 2011 - Registration deadline for the Oct. 20th test at North Star HS
Important Codes: North Star Test Center Code: 179715 (only required if testing at North Star HS) North Star HS Code: 270771 (required for all ACT testing)
Fees: ACT (no writing) - $33.00 ACT Plus Writing - $48.00 Late Fee--Basic fee +$20.00 Students who receive the free or reduced lunch program may be eligible for a fee waiver. See Mrs. Spinler for details. Students with an IEP may request special accommodations. Please see Mrs. Williams for assistance and additional information.
Online Registration: Students registering for regular testing (no special accommodations) are encouraged to register at www.actstudent.org A credit card is required. When registering on-line, sign up for the Oct. 22nd test date. After the North Star test center code is entered, the test date will change to October 20, 2011.
Test Preparation: Visit www.testpreview.com or www.number2.com or www.safmt.com (click on Smart about College) for free on-line practice tests.
Writing test or no writing test? Students who receive a 3.5 or better on the Montana University System Writing Assessment meet the MUS writing standards. Students considering out-of-state schools should check with them regarding admission requirements. |
